Part 3: Tour of Rescue 1
Lt Vaughan Dumas gives a detailed tour of the Rescue 1 fire truck.
In the previous two videos Lt. Vaughan Dumas showed the right and rear of Rescue 1, the Orange Volunteer Fire Association’s newest truck. At a cost of $1 million, it is a toolbox on wheels and provides the firefighters everything they need at every call.
The left side, as you will see, contains dry chemical and foam fire extinguishers, Ropes for RIT (Rapid Intervention Team), hydraulic ramps, a winch that can handle up to 9,500 lbs.
It also carries extra hoses, Hurst tool pump, air pump for the rescue air bags, and jacks.
