Everything but the kitchen sink

If you've ever wondered where the money from the Orange Volunteer Firemen's Carnival goes or why the 50/50 raffles are so important - Rescue 1 is a good example.

Rescue 1, the Orange Volunteer Fire Association's "toolbox on wheels" has it all.

Tarps, sawsall, neat compartments that carry all the necessary hand tools, air bottles, tool boards and an extra air pack for the driver.

It also contains a variety of power saws, and air bags for lifting heavy items off of victims.

Absorbent pads, ladders, hose, and ropes also are available on the truck.

Carefully designed by a six-man committee, the truck is multi-functional and an asset to the department.

This is the second video in a series of a "tour of Rescue 1" with Lt. Vaughan Dumas.

An air tank filling station is provided on Rescue 1, along with empty air bottles in the event they are needed.
