Orange Police: Two Arrests in Home Disturbance

Two people reportedly turned themselves in at Police HQ after learning about warrants for their arrest in connection with an August 19 disturbance at a Garden Road home.

Police arrested Patrick Walsh, 29, of Orange, and Shannon Bennett, 35, of Milford. According to reports, when the resident tried to call police, Bennett knocked the phone away and tried to "physically restrain" the resident. Police also say Walsh threatened the resident before leaving.

Walsh was charged with 2nd-degree Threatening and Breach of Peace; Bennett was charged with 2nd-degree Unlawful Restraint, Breach of Peace and Interfering with an Emergency Call.

Walsh was released after posting $2500 bond, and Bennett was released after posting $10,000 bond.
