February of 2011 we reported a man that was allegedly looking to do home improvement work. However, it was a friday night, dark outside, and I had heard my neighbor's alarm going off which is why I stepped outside and saw this man to begin with. The man proceeded to have the nerve to ask me "Do a lot of your neighbor's have alarms?". I ran back inside, called the police, and when I did they told me another neighbor was suspicious and called as well. When the officer got here, they 'contractor' was hiding behind a pine tree on my next door neighbor's property. Nice huh?
I pointed him out to the officer and the officer yelled at him to come out and then questioned him, took his information, and told him if a burglary happens, he will be the first one they look to. You have to be so careful. Imagine if I had not called? Someone's house would have been burglarized that night, and the detective agreed that this man looked up to no good. My point is--call if you see something suspicious. If you're wrong, so what, you had good intentions.
