A 22-year-old Orange resident was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence at 5:35 p.m. on March 10.
Police said the arrest came about when an officer on routine patrol observed a vehicle driving erratically on Old Tavern Road.
The driver, who police identified as John Richard, of Grassy Hill Road, was charged after performing roadside field sobriety tests, according to the report provided by the Orange Police Department.
Richard was released after posting a $50 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 25.
