Alicia Barry, 29, of 1 Birch Lane, East Haven, was charged at 8:36 a.m. with criminal violation of a protective order.

The arrestee surrendered herself at police headquarters after learning of a warrant for her arrest. The warrant stemmed from an incident in December when she repeatedly contacted a former boyfriend, directly against the provisions of a protective order he had obtained against her. She was subsequently taken into custody and charged.

Estianne Garbatini, 37, of 512 Meetinghouse Circle, Orange, was charged at 8:46 p.m. with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police Report:

Officers responded to a disturbance at a private residence on Meetinghouse Circle. Officers learned that the arrestee had gotten into an argument with another family member over narcotics that were found in the residence, and the argument turned physical. She was subsequently taken into custody and charged.
