Orange Police Arrest Three on Forgery Charges

They allegedly worked together to produce and file a fraudulent document.

Orange Police have arrested three individuals who they said allegedly worked together to produce and file a fraudulent document to release a loan.

Arrested at 10:44 a.m. on Dec. 4 after turning themselves in at Orange Police Department headquarters were:

  • Anthony Villano, 53, of 522 Derby-Milford Road, Orange, on a charge of secod-degree forgery
  • Nicole Marcus, 28, of 2115 Bigelow Commons in Enfield, on a charge of second-degree forgery
  • Kenneth Prisco, 48, of 91 Honey Pot Road in West Haven, on a charge of second-degree forgery and falsely certifying as to an administration of oath

The warrants stemmed from a financial document pertaining to the release of a loan that had been secured against Villano's private residence, police said. A separate civil court case determined that this document had been forged and that the actual lienholder had not signed the release form, according to the report.

Police said the forged document was then certified as authentic by Prisco, who was a Notary Public at the time.

All three were released on a promise to appear in court on Dec. 17.
