Orange Man Charged with Strangulation

Police say the arrest stems from a domestic disturbance.

A reported domestic dispute at an Old Grassy Hill Road residence on June 3 led to the arrest of a 57-year-old man.

charged William McMullen with third-degree assault and third-degree strangulation after responding to the incident at about 3 p.m. that day. An argument between McMullen and his girlfriend allegedly turned physical, police said.

He was held on a $10,000 bond and was due in court on June 4.
