Orange K-9 Team Excel At K-9 Trials (Video)

Orange Police Officer Mike Kosh and his K-9 partner Maximus "Max" are participating in the 37th Region 7 Police K-9 certification trials at Wasson Field this weekend.

Yesterday Max excelled in the obedience, agility, suspect and evidence search testing.  Today's events include Max's specialties, criminal apprehension from 8 to 10 a.m.; and handler protection, 10 a.m. to noon.

During yesterday's testing, a spectator was asked to take their (civilian) dog out of the stadium because it was causing a distraction that could have cost some of the police dogs their certification.

NOTE: If you are coming today, please leave your dogs home.
