Marijuana Odor at Gas Station Leads To Citation

A Bridgeport man was issued an infraction ticket for possession of marijuana after officers reportedly smelled the substance emanating from his car.

The man, George Ruffin, 30, was issued the infraction at 11:30 p.m. on June 30, police said.

"Officers on routine patrol smelled the odor of marijuana coming from a vehicle in the parking lot of Route 34 Fuel," the report states. "Officers stopped the driver and seized a small amount of marijuana in his possession. He was issued an infraction ticket for his actions."
