Police: West Haven Man Dies from Injuries in Marsh Hill Rd. Accident

A West Haven man in a single-vehicle crash Sunday has succumbed to his injuries, according to a release from the Orange Police Department.

According to police, Michael O'Brien, 57, was driving north on Marsh Hill Road when his pickup truck left the road, rolled over and stopped at a utility poll. He was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital following the accident.

Orange officers are currently investigating the case.

"Officers do a thorough job," when dealing with vehicle fatalities, said Assistant Chief Anthony Cuozzo. "Everything from weather information to a 24-hour history of the deceased. We'll also be conducting a thorough investigation of the car."
