Man Charged With Breach of Peace at Bear & Grill

He allegedly got in an altercation and damaged some of the property in the Orange restaurant.


A 28-year-old Stratford man was arrested on charges of third-degree criminal mischief and breach of peace in relation to an alleged disturbance at Bear & Grill in Orange.

According to police, the man, who they identified as Norberto Cales, got into an altercation at the restaurant at 12:45 a.m. on Jan. 4 and caused damage to property in the establishment.

Cales was arrested by warrant after he was picked up by Milford Police on an unrelated matter.

He was released after posting a $1,000 bond and was due in court on Jan. 18.

A routine motor vehicle stop on Route 1 led to multiple citations for a New Haven man at 8:11 p.m. on Jan. 6.

Lenny Perdomo, 19, was issued infractions for possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana, operating a motor vehicle without a license and improper headlights.
