Man Allegedly Causes Scene at Sam's Club

An Orange resident reportedly used foul language with an employee and then a customer who tried to intervene.

Orange Police responded to Sam's Club at 10:32 a.m. on March 5 in response to a reported dispute between customers.

There, they issued an infraction ticket to Felix Proto, 47, of Pleasant Hill Road, for creating a public disturbance.

"Officers learned that the above party had been rude and used foul language when dealing with a store employee, and another customer came to the employee’s defense," according to a report provided by the Orange Police Department. "Mr. Proto then argued with the other customer and police were contacted for assistance."
