At Wednesday's Board of Police Commissioners meeting, Chief Robert Gagne released statistics for crime across Orange in October.
Vehicle thefts and shoplifting/larcenies were slightly down from September, according to a comparison with last month's reports, while burglaries were slightly up.

- 2550 Calls for Service
- 1 Robbery
Two men approached a man and stole an iPhone in the parking lot of Burlington Coat Factory, said Gagne. - 6 Burglaries (4 Residential, 2 Commercial)
An attempted barn burglary was foiled by a homeowner on Oct. 3.
A man allegedly broke into Orange Ale House and grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash on Oct. 10. - 175 Activated Burglar Alarms
