Got Drugs? Give Them to the Police

The town's second drug disposal day is Saturday

Orange residents, if you have expired, unused or unwanted prescription medication, the Orange Police Department is making it easy for you to dispose of them safely.

The police in cooperation with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will host a one-day collaborative effort to remove any potentially dangerous controlled substances from Orange homes.

The take back event will take place at the Orange Police Department, Saturday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

At the end of the day, the DEA takes all of the drugs from numerous collection centers to an undisclosed location where they are incinerated.

You have one month to gather your prescription medication for disposal, make sure you have it all when you go to the police department.
