Gas Station Robbery Reported

The Sunoco Gas Station on the Boston Post Road reportedly was robbed last night.

 

On Tuesday, April 10, at about 10:05 p.m. the Orange Police Department received a call from the clerk at the station, 404 Boston Post Road, reporting they had been robbed.

The attendant reported a male entered the store and indicated that he had a weapon in his sweatshirt pocket.

The suspect demanded the attendant open the register and as the attendant was retrieving money the suspect grabbed it from his hand and ran out of the store.

A K-9 track at the scene headed on an easterly path, according to police.

The suspect was not located. He is described as a black male about 5’8”, 200 lbs wearing black pants, black sweat shirt, and a mask.

An undetermined amount of cash was taken. No injuries were reported.
