A New Haven man was arrested in Orange Feb. 1 after he allegedly caused a disturbance in IHOP.

Police said the man, a former IHOP employee, had been told to never come back to the 486 Boston Post Road property. He reportedly disregarded that order and went to to the restaurant at 11:47 p.m. on Feb. 1.

"When current IHOP employees told him to leave, he became loud and argumentative, which prompted restaurant patrons to call police," the report states. "He was subsequently taken into custody and charged."

The man, Jorge Calvillo, 27, was charged with first-degree trespassing and second-degree breach of peace.

He was released on a promise to appear in court on Feb. 10.
