Disturbance at Orange IHOP Leads to Arrest

Police say the disturbance was caused by a former employee of the Boston Post Road business.

A New Haven man was arrested in Orange Feb. 1 after he allegedly caused a disturbance in IHOP.

Police said the man, a former IHOP employee, had been told to never come back to the 486 Boston Post Road property. He reportedly disregarded that order and went to to the restaurant at 11:47 p.m. on Feb. 1.

"When current IHOP employees told him to leave, he became loud and argumentative, which prompted restaurant patrons to call police," the report states. "He was subsequently taken into custody and charged."
