Couple Arrested Following Alleged Dispute In Vehicle

A young couple was arrested May 27 after they allegedly got in an argument in their car on Orange Center Road.

Police say an officer came upon their vehicle while on routine patrol at about 9 p.m. After speaking to the parties, officers learned that the couple had an argument over a cell phone call, according to police.

The driver, Samantha Monaco, 20, of Shelton, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.

The passenger, Christopher Rogowska, 19, of Orange, was charged with second-degree breach of peace.

Both were released on a written promise to appear in court on May 28.
