Cops: Woman Used 'Pepper Spray Type Substance' on Co-Worker

Police arrested a Christmas Tree Shop employee for the alleged break room incident.

 

A 21-year-old Christmas Tree Shop employee allegedly sprayed a coworker in a break room altercation, according to reports from the Orange Police Department.

Police say arrestee Taquanna Douglas of New Haven approached another employee "in an aggressive manner" in a break area in the store at about 2:33 p.m. November 10. During the confrontation, Douglas allegedly sprayed her co-worker in the face with a "pepper spray type substance."

Douglas was charged with 3rd-degree assault and released after posting $1000 bond. The alleged victim was treated at the scene.
