Cops: Man Hit Pedestrian at Post Rd. McDonalds and Fled

Orange police arrested charged the man with evading the scene of an accident.

Orange police arrested Bethany resident Jeffrey Eastman this morning after Eastman allegedly struck a pedestrian in the parking lot of the McDonalds on the Boston Post Road in Orange. 

According to reports, after Eastman hit the pedestrian, he fled the scene and returned to Bethany, where police found him and charged him with Failure to Avoid a Pedestrian and Evading the Scene of an Accident. Eastman was released after posting $200 bond and will face court August 31.
