Break-In Reported at Game GameXChange

Police are searching for a man caught on tape allegedly breaking into the store and taking hand-held video games.

Orange Police are looking for the person responsible for the break in at Game X Change at 116 Boston Post Road in the early morning hours of Dec. 30.

Police were called to the business shortly before 5 a.m. when the burglar alarm activated, according to police. When they got there, officers found the front door had been shattered, according to reports, and a trailer hitch with a ball lying on top of the snow in front of the shattered door.

Several hand-held video games had been stolen police said, and store closed circuit cameras caught the alleged thief -- a white male wearing a green jacket with an embroidered design on the back and a dark hat -- entering the store, grabbing the items from a display case and leaving in a dark colored pickup truck.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Orange Det. John Reshotnik at 203-891-2138.
