Amity Student Arrests for Theft, Fighting with Police

Police reports indicated the incidents on October 18 and 19.

 

Amity High School students were arrested in two separate incidents recently, according to a report from the Woodbridge Police Department. 

On October 18, a 15-year-old student described by police as "unruly" was arrested after becoming combative with police, according to reports. The student was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Interfering with a Police Officer.

On October 19, another 15-year-old student was arrested after police and school officials found the student with money and a gift card stolen from another student's wallet.

Both students were referred Juvenile Court in New Haven. Due to being minors, their names and identifying factors cannot be released.
