Children's Palm Saturday Program at Orange Congregational Church

Come celebrate the meaning of Palm Sunday and the coming of Easter! All children 3-11 years of age are welcome at this fun event on March 23, 2013 from 9-12 noon at the Orange Congregational Church.

Calling all community kids!

Join us for a fun Palm Saturday program at the OCC to celebrate the meaning of Palm Sunday and the coming of Easter! Everyone is welcome!

The Christian Education Board is sponsoring the annual Palm Saturday event on March 23rd from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, for children aged 3 to 11.

The children will go through a number of centers, each with a different focus, throughout the morning. As part of these centers, they will do crafts, be part of an interactive Passion play, decorate cookies, create palm crosses, make Easter cards and contribute their handprint to a special banner.

The event concludes with lunch served in the John Ho Dining Room. There is no fee, but donations are accepted if desired.

To register call the church office, 203-795-9749 or email OCC Director of Christian Education, Pam Sugrue, at pamsugrue@yahoo.com.  Please include your child(ren)’s name & age.

This year’s event theme is “planting a seed.” Come grow with us!

Whoever you are, wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.
