Obituary Joseph S. (Jay) Juliano

Former Orange resident, WWII veteran dies in Florida.

Joseph S. (Jay) Juliano, 92, of Hallandale Beach, Florida, formerly of Orange and Branford entered into eternal rest on April 10, 2012.

Born in New Haven, CT on March 27, 1920, he was the son of the late Rocco and Rose Battalene Juliano.

Jay was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the European Conflict during World War II. Following the war he was employed until his retirement in 1982 by the Afco Lycoming Corporation in Stratford.

He was the devoted husband for 60 years of the late Elvira Corolla Juliano.

He is survived by his brother, Rocco Juliano, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends he made during his retrement years in Florida.

Joseph was predeceased by his siblings, Michael Juliano, Margaret Juliano Barbuto, Steven Juliano, Ralph Juliano, Doris Juliano Maturo, Ethel Juliano Troiano, and Harold Juliano.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 16, 10:30am – 11:30am followed by a funeral service at 11:30am at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Home.
