Obituary: John Scalesse, 49, President of JAS Masonry
Services to be held Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Maresca & Sons Funeral Home.
John A. Scalesse, 49, of Orange, died Sept. 22, 2012 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He leaves his devoted and loving mother, Marguerite "Peggy" Scalesse-DeMaria (Robert) of Fairfield, his father John(Eileen) Scalesse of Hamden, a brother Matthew J. (Becky) Scalesse of Wallingford , a sister Pamela Carfora of New Haven, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends including his devoted friend Lisa Casagrande; predeceased by his uncle Robert A. Esposito. Born Oct. 4, 1962, he graduated from Amity High School and was involved in many Orange sports activities. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. John was President of JAS Masonry and previously worked for Dahill Construction for 20 years.
Family & friends may call at MARESCA & SONS FUNERAL HOME 592 Chapel St. Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Infant Church, Orange Thursday at 10am. Burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
