Obituary: James Mossey, 70: Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather

Mass for Mossey will be Friday, 10 a.m., at Holy Infant Church.

James Kendrick Mossey, age 70, longtime resident of Orange and beloved husband to Cynthia Mossey, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at CT Hospice in Branford. Born on November 27, 1941 in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Elmer and Anne Kendrick Mossey. Prior to his retirement, Jim was a systems engineer for IBM. A member of the Lions’ Club and the New Haven chapter of the Providence College Club, he was also a member of the Orange Senior Leadership and a parishioner and usher for Holy Infant Church. 

In addition to his wife Cynthia of 44 years, he is survived by his son, James Mossey, Jr. and his wife Denise of Grafton, MA ; his daughter, Laura Mossey of Orange; and two cherished grandchildren, Emily and Joseph Mossey. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 16th at 10:00 am at Holy Infant Church (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH), 450 Racebrook Rd., Orange, CT. Burial will be private. Friends and family may call on Thursday, November 15th from 3 to 7 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405 or to the American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W.
