Julio L. Suarez, 81

Julio proudly served in the United States Armed Forces during the Korean Conflict and before his retirement, he was the Director of Electronics Engineering with Columbia Records.

Julio L. Suarez, 81, passed away at his residence on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, in Orange. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor (Crane) Suarez.

Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Julio and Agustina (Moreno) Suarez.

Julio proudly served in the United States Armed Forces during the Korean Conflict. Before his retirement, he was the Director of Electronics Engineering with Columbia Records.

Besides his loving wife Eleanor, he also survived by his son Richard (Toni) Suarez of Cheshire and his daughter Nancy Zelinsky of Orange, his grandchildren; Samantha, Derek and Aja Suarez and Natalie Zelinsky and Vicenta Zelinsky (Daryl Mizzone) and a great-grandson John Mizzone.

A Prayer Service will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad Street, Milford. Friends may call from 10 a.m. till time of service. Interment will be in Orange Center Cemetery in Orange.
