Irene D. Clemens, 91

The Orange resident was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren.

 

Irene D. Clemens, 91, longtime resident of Orange and beloved wife to the late William F. Clemens, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at the Hospital of St. Raphael's.

Born in Hartford on Jan. 2, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Dondero.

Irene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her great enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid traveler, and loved vacationing with her husband, Bill until his passing, and continued her travels with her sister, Mildred.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael Clemens and his wife Pamela of Orange and David Clemens and his wife Monika of Ohi, CA; her cherished grandchildren, William, Amy and Lacey Clemens and niece, Patricia Black and nephew Richard Wiesner. She was predeceased by her sisters, Vera Wiesner and Mildred Vozzolo and brother Francis Dondero.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. at Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Rd. Interment to follow at Orange Center Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, Dec. 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association , 1 Union St., Suite 31, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
