Joan, given that you're an LPN and have focused on healthy eating, I'm curious if you try to concentrate on organic veggies vs. non-organic. I've been reading so much about GMOs lately. It is clear there are many facets to the arguments against them but I'd love to hear from others as well. I would also love to meet you and maybe have you come visit the farm where I work in Woodbridge, Massaro Community Farm. Caty Poole

Caty Poole Thanks for the comment. I have several articles on the site concerning the evils of GMO's. I favor, of course, Organic vs non but concentrate on eating locally as much as you can. Your local farmer as you know products are much safer. I avoid food that is known to be GMO like Corn, soybean, etc. I focus on home or locally grown produce. I avoid Grocery Store Olive Oil, and many other GS oils. I will look up the farm and in spring or summer love to visit.
