What is Fructose?
Fructose has been deemed to be healthy because it comes from fruit. It exists as a natural part of fruit. If you only ate one or two pieces of fruit a day you would be ok but Fructose is also being used as a food additive called High Fructose Corn Syrup. Americans are over consuming HFCS, at an alarming rate causing many serious ramifications besides Obesity.
A new UCLA study has just shown that a steady diet high in fructose can damage your memory and learning. The study was published in the Journal of Physiology.
