Gallery at the Town Hall exhibit

The Orange Arts and Culture Council's  Gallery at the Town Hall will present the Plein Air Landscapes in Oil by Rosemary Markham. Markham is an award winning artist who has painted in the Plein Air  style of landscape painting for many decades. Her scenes depict Connecticut landmarks as well as throughout the Eastern, Western and Southern U.S.  Rosemary  loves to travel and has painted extensively in Europe.  She has exhibited at the Milford Fine Arts Council, New Haven Paint and Clay Club, Woodbridge Library, Case Memorial Library, Lyme Art Association, Radisson Hotel and Conference Center and the Hilton Hotel.  Markham is a member of the Connecticut Plein Aire Artists, Milford Art League, Milford Fine Arts Council, Lyme Art Association, and the Connecticut Classic Art Council. There have been articles about her exhibits in the Ct. Post, New Haven Register, Around the Town Magazine and the Successful Women in Business Magazine. Her commissions and paintings hang in public buildings and private homes. 
The opening will be September 11 from 5-7pm at the Gallery at the Town Hall, 617 Orange Center Road, Orange. Works will remain on display from September 3rd through October, Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.
