Robert (“Bob”) Shanley, Executive Chairman of the Greater New Haven St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee and its 1982 Grand Marshal, will be the featured honoree on January 19 at a “friendly” winter roast. The event, hosted by O’Tooles Irish Pub, 157 Orange Street, begins at 7 pm, and will include a buffet and pig roast along with entertainment by the Jolly Beggars. Tickets are $25 and all proceeds will benefit the 2013 St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
