Community Corner

Donations Accepted at the Case Memorial Library

If you’ve ever been to one of the Library’s semi-annual book sales you know our basement is holding a treasure trove of great books, movies, and music. But, you may not know that all of these materials come from the many generous people in our community who want to give their possessions a second life. Why not join their ranks and help support the library by donating your new and gently used books, CDs, and DVDs to the Friends of the Library’s book sales? You’ll free up some space in your home, get a donation receipt for your taxes, and feel good knowing that you’ve helped the Friends to support many of the great materials, programs, and services you enjoy at the Library. Donations are accepted any time the Library is open.

The success of our book sales relies heavily on our commitment to high quality materials that will appeal to our book enthusiasts. Because of this, we do not accept magazines; older health or technology books; encyclopedias; text books; and any materials in poor condition. We also accept media: DVDs, CDs, books on tape, videos, and vinyl.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
