Amateur Radio (Ham Radio) is a fun and popular hobby which opens the door to new friendships over the air locally, across the country, around the world, and even out of this world (astronauts on the International Space Station).
You can communicate from the top of a mountain, your home, or behind the wheel of your car. You can take radio wherever you go!
In times of disaster, when regular communications channels fail, hams can swing into action assisting emergency communications efforts and working with public service agencies.
This study course introduces you to everything you need to know in order to help you pass the entry level F.C.C. exam for the Amateur Radio Technician License… ... and get started right.
