Orange’s unemployment rate remains well below the state average – and the lowest it has been all year - according to the latest figures from the Connecticut Department of Labor.
The town's unemployment rate dropped from 5.7 percent in March to 5.4 percent in April.
Statewide, the unemployment rate remained the same as the previous month, at 7.7 percent. However, there are 4,100 fewer jobs this month.
