Trick-or-Treating Postponed Until Friday in Light of Nor'easter, Say Officials

Assistant Chief Anthony Cuozzo asks parents to reschedule for November 9.

As snow falls and a projected nor'easter plans a run-in with Connecticut, Orange police are again rescheduling Halloween trick or treating.

"In light of public concern regarding trick or treating this evening, and careful consideration of deteriorating weather conditions, the Town of Orange is recommending that Residents postpone outdoor trick or treating until Friday November 9th," said a release from Assistant Chief Anthony Cuozzo. "Public safety, as always, is our primary concern when making these determinations. This will be the last postponement by Town officials, further considerations should be made by parents."

Trick-or-treating was previously rescheduled due to Hurricane Sandy.
