The New Jersey-based band is the next in the summer concert lineup.

New Jersey-based band the British Invasion will be the next band to hit Orange fairgrounds for the summer concert series, according to a release from publisher Rocky Salperto.

The group is a house band at the Mohegan Sun Casino and are veterans of amusement parks and casinos throughout New Jersey, including Asbury Park. But it's their first time playing an outdoor show in Connecticut.

They may look the part, but they're not just a Beatles cover band. (In fact, their motto is "More than just the Beatles!") Their complex three-part show presents the musical story of the 1960s as told through songs by bands like the Dave Clark Five, the Byrds and Jefferson Airplane.

The performance will be Saturday, Sept. 1, from 6:30-9:00 p.m. on the Orange Fairgrounds. For more information, check out the band's website.
