Slippery, Dangerous Morning Commute Expected

Another winter storm is on our doorsteps, freezing rain, snow and sleet will make it particularly dangerous for drivers.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather advisory from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The hazards include snow, sleet and freezing rain. Expect 1 to 3 inches of snow and sleet into early Tuesday morning and then up to a tenth of an inch of ice on top of the snow and sleet.

Overnight temperatures will be in the teens and 20s, and then rise toward freezing early Tuesday — and above freezing during the afternoon.
