Police: Two Domestic Disturbances in Orange Last Week

Police reported two disorderly conduct arrests at Indian Hill Road and Howellton Road homes.

 

According to reports from the Orange Police Department, two men were arrested in seperate alleged domestic disturbances over the weekend of November 18 and 19.

  • November 18:
    Police arrested Richard Rodican of Howellton Road at 10:29 p.m. Rodican allegedly "struck a female relative," according to reports, during an argument. Rodican was charged with disorderly conduct and held on bond.

  • November 19
    While at home with family members, 22-year-old James Gillespie allegedly got in involved in a family argument. When it escalated, Gillespie allegedly started throwing items around the house, according to police, causing a lot of damage in the process.

Police arrived around shortly before 11:21 p.m., according to reports. Gillespie allegedly "ran into a wooded area," but police were able to arrest him shortly after, according to reports. He was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and interfering with an officer's investigation, and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
