Police: String of Car Break-Ins Hits Orange

Chief Robert Gagne warns residents to use caution in securing their cars.

 

According to a Thursday afternoon release from the Orange Police Department, a string of six vehicle break-ins have been reported across Orange over the past ten days.

Affected areas include:

  • Dogburn Lane
  • Derby Avenue
  • Woodruff Road
  • Pine Tree Drive
  • Hawthorne Lane
  • Birchwood Drive

"We are asking residents to use caution in securing their vehicles and not leaving valuables inside," wrote Chief Robert Gagne in the release. He warned electronics may be among vulnerable items.

Gagne said break-ins took place during the overnight hours, with one on Sept. 17th, two on Sept. 21st, two on Sept. 26th and two on Sept. 27th.
