McMahon, Murphy On Top In Orange Primaries

The choices mirror statewide picks, with McMahon performing exceptionally strong.

According to Selectman Mitch Goldblatt, who is overseeing today's primary polling at , voting has been about what's expected for a Senate primary -- but it could have been less.

"It feels like it's been slow," says Goldblatt. "But we've had about 18% for Districts 2 and 3." District 1 voted at Mary L. 

"For a primary season, it's normal to have 15-20%. You'd think with all the buildup and advertising, it'd be higher than that, but I think we're looking at a pretty average turnout."
