Orange Police Say DUI Driver Was Asleep at Intersection

The latest report from the Orange Police Department.

 

According to a release from the Orange Police Department, police found a driver -- allegedly under the influence -- asleep at the wheel of her car in the early hours of Friday, Sept. 21.

According to reports, police on routine patrol found a car stopped at the intersection of Grassy Hill Road and Old Grassy Hill Road at around 3:21 a.m. Friday morning. The driver, Kaitlin Norko, 24, of Bridgeport, was allegedly asleep inside the running car.

After police conducted a roadside sobriety test, they report Norko was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. She was released after posted $50 bond.
