"I just want to know he survived"

Have you been caring for this cat? If so, his owner wants to know he's okay.

We received this request from a reader on our Facebook page:

"Over 2 years my cat was trapped by my neighbor in Shelton and dumped on farm property on Derby Milford Rd in Orange. I have continued to search for him, send out mailings & post flyers since that time. He was friendly with me, but very skittish around strangers & semi feral. I was wondering if you be so kind as to post his picture on the Orange Patch. If someone happens to have him, has been caring for him & loves him, my intentions are not to take him back. I just want to know he survived this cruel act!!!"

Orange Patch readers, it's been a long time, but happy endings are still possible, even after years. If you found a cat around two years ago and have been giving him a loving home, let us know! Don't worry - you won't lose him. But you should know what he's been through. And his owner would like to know he's okay.

Please comment in the thread below or e-mail davis.dunavin@patch.com if you have any information.
