Update (Sunday, August 5):

It's the final day of the fireman's carnival, your last chance to make it out if you haven't already. Raffle winners will be announced at 4:30 p.m., with festivities wrapping up by 5:00 p.m. And while you're there, don't forget to take pictures and video to add to our collection! (We're also continuously adding new photos from Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so keep checking in.)

Update (Saturday, August 4):

The second night of the Firemen's Carnival has wrapped up, and we're still seeking photos to help document your experience. (Thanks to those who have already contributed!)

But today we're going a step further and offering smartphone video uploads -- for example, to start off with, iPhone video from the fireworks finale. So grab your iPhones and Androids and help us document the carnival. You can upload smartphone videos the same way you upload photos. (It may take a little longer, though.)

Friday:

The first night of the Volunteer Firemen's Carnival has come to a close, but there's plenty more to go. This weekend, we're following all the names and faces of the carnival — and if you're there, we want to see your photos, too! You can upload your photos to our album and share them with your friends and neighbors. To get started, here are some shots from Thursday night.

We'll continue updating this album throughout the week. More to come soon!
