Fingers Crossed Against Rain for Firemens' Carnival Weekend

One way or another, though, it's going to be hot.

When the Orange Volunteer Firemens' Carnival kicks off at 5 p.m. tonight, temperatures should be between 80 and 70 degrees, with clear skies, according to the National Weather Service. Perfect carnival weather.

But it's unclear whether we'll get away with a totally rain-free weekend. The National Weather Service reports a 30% chance of rain on Friday, a 20% chance of rain on Saturday, and a 40% chance of rain on Sunday.

So if you're crossing your fingers against rain, hope epecially they don't interfere with the fireworks shows. Fireworks are scheduled for Friday night at 10:30pm and Saturday night at 10:45 p.m. For more information, head to the Orange Volunteer Fire Department website.
