UPDATE: The Board decided not to vote on the DAC proposal tonight.

After all the regular agenda items are over and done tonight, the Board of Selectmen will go into executive session to discuss a proposed Municipal Animal Control Agreement.

In December, the board unanimously voted to present the District Animal Control Commission with a letter of intent to leave DAC and soon after began talks with a well established nearby shelter with a good track record to take over coverage for Orange's animal control needs.

The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.
