Nuvita Not Yet

The skies cried down on Orange as the news that the Nuvita Grand Opening was delayed once again.

The next big hit in Orange is going to take a few extra days to open. Nuvita Frozen Yogurt & Cafe announced that the grand opening scheduled for today is cancelled due to last minute problems.

However, owner JiMin "Jason" Moon is not upset- he's taking the setback in stride. In a message to event fans on Facebook earlier today he wrote, "Over the past few months I have undoubtedly learned that things do not always go as planned. Though frustrating, it has taken me on an unforgettable journey that is truly exciting. That being said, I cannot thank you all enough for your continual support. I am very excited for you to see what has been my life for the past seven months."

Moon breezed through most of the tough inspections and had high hopes of opening his frozen yogurt shop, Nuvita at 35 Old Tavern Road, on Friday, but one "minor" glitch caused another delay.

Each time a car pulled up to the front of the store on Friday, Moon  would stand up and greet the visitors at the door and explain the it wasn't open "yet" but "soon."

"It's been hard seeing everyone come here and not being able to serve them," Moon said. "I've been working so hard, it's such a disappointment not to be open yet."
