Hungry Howie's opens its doors at 531 Boston Post Road, next to Mr. Kold Kuts, on Thursday. After a few modifications and some construction delays, Mark Schwartz and his wife, Luz said they are happy to announce that they are opening their first Hungry Howie's franchise in Orange.
The Schwartzes have been Milford residents for the past eight years and chose Orange, as their first of a planned six locations in Connecticut.
"Orange is such a beautiful town with a strong sense of community and commitment for local businesses," Mark said.

Mark was an executive in Norwalk and when his position was eliminated, he decided to go into business for himself, along with his wife. They chose Hungry Howie's, because he had grown up in Michigan, and when in college, it was his favorite pizza restaurant.
It was a simple decision for them, working for themselves and introducing the pizza they love to the people of Connecticut.

Hungry Howie's is known for its Flavored Crust Pizza. There are 8 different flavors to choose; Original, Ranch, Onion, Sesame, Butter, Butter Cheese, Cajun and Garlic Herb.
