In Orange, gas is still available for under $4 at  (259 Bull Hill Lane) and (217 Derby Turnpike), at $3.94 and $3.95, respectively. Everywhere else, it's $4.00 or above.

Despite the rise, analyst Patrick DeHaan of GasBuddy.com – the parent company of ConnecticutGasPrices.com- thinks prices will drop soon.

"Even with Isaac long gone, the oil industry is still bringing capacity back online- at refineries and oil rigs, which is keeping pressure on prices," DeHaan said in a press release. "Supply remains tight across the country as we slowly approach the transition to winter-spec gasoline, but I continue to be firm in believing that the national average will start to decline towards the end of September, as is typically the case.”

The national average is $3.82 per gallon.
