U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro paid a visit Friday to -based Dark Field Technologies, a manufacturer of inspection systems for as a sustainable, alternative source of electricity.
A statement issued by the congresswoman’s office said the company’s award-winning testing equipment is used to detect flaws in solar panel products on high-speed assembly lines.
Dark Field’s inspection systems recently received the "Most Promising Technology of the Year" award from the Connecticut Technology Council. The company is planning to expand into the global marketplace. DeLauro toured the facility and met with company leaders and employees to learn about its plans for the future.
